Robotics specialist KUKA and ASM have recently jointly presented a robot study . The self-propelled robot supports line staff in replenishment processes . The robot had been linked to the material flow solution SIPLACE material manager already. The software of the robot received instructions for providing component reels to his human operator at the SMT line.
